Sales Engineering at the technical edge
As a sales engineer, I sit at the intersection of deep technical expertise and customer-facing communication. My job is to understand what a customer is trying to accomplish — reduce complexity, improve security posture, enable hybrid work, migrate to the cloud — and architect a solution that actually works in the real world.
That means I spend a lot of time thinking about design patterns, vendor trade-offs, and how different technologies fit together. This site is where I document that thinking — reference architectures, topology diagrams, and the rationale behind design decisions.
I work across the full network and security stack: enterprise switching and routing, wireless, SD-WAN, NGFW, SASE, zero trust, and cloud connectivity. My vendor depth is strongest in HPE Networking (Aruba and Juniper), Palo Alto Networks, Extreme Networks, and Fortinet — with growing experience in AWS, Azure, and multi-cloud architectures.
Beyond vendor solutions, I'm increasingly interested in network automation, infrastructure-as-code, and how AI can improve network operations and security response.
